Mr. Kevin Dalfonso is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Masters in Social Work from West Chester University and is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern and future Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida.
Kevin works with individuals across the lifespan with diagnoses of anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder, and anger management, including oppositional defiant disorder and adjusting to major life changes. Kevin has worked across the lifespan in community behavioral health including crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
Kevin has worked with veterans extensively interning at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and with mobile crisis in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He has also worked as a care coordinator in the Emergency Room at Mainline Health outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and as a care coordinator at NCH hospital in Naples, Florida. Kevin is passionate about helping people with their major life changes and challenges. Prior to counseling Kevin has worked in management consulting and corporate training and recruiting.
What do you specialize in or focus on in mental health treatment?:
I specialize and focus on helping first responders, veterans, adults and seniors with depression, bipolar disorder, grief and bereavement and major life changes. I utilize multiple therapeutic interventions including a person centered clinical approach. Every client is different and as a clinician, focus on the dynamics and details that make the client’s story unique.
What do you do in your free time?
In his free time, Kevin enjoys travel, exercise, his family, and all that Southwest Florida has to offer. You may find him boating in the mangroves around Naples or trying a new restaurant. He is adamant about volunteering, educational empowerment and contributions to making the world a little bit better.
