Nicole Stouder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in the states of Florida and Nevada, as well as a qualified supervisor to social work interns actively working towards licensure. Ms. Stouder received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Ball State University in Indiana. Ms. Stouder received her master’s degree in social work from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Ms. Stouder began her social work career in Indiana in 2012, working with at-risk youth in a treatment and residential facility. She has gone on to work in multiple crisis stabilization units and psychiatric hospitals assessing children, teenagers, adults, and couples experiencing mental health crisis, as well as those seeking detoxification and substance abuse treatment. Ms. Stouder has diversified her career by providing clinical services, case management, and therapy to clients in the home, school, community, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Ms. Stouder has significant experience working with young adults, older adults, couples, United States Veterans, and first responders. She has worked with clients who have experienced trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, personality disorders, behavioral issues, conduct disorders, and issues with self-esteem, healthy communication, and family cohesion. She has worked extensively with clients who have co-occurring disorders, those in need of both mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Ms. Stouder completed her clinical internship at the Veteran Affairs hospital in Cape Coral, Florida. There, she provided mental health therapy to Veterans, as well as assisting Veterans experiencing homelessness to obtain permanent housing. She conducted bio-psycho-social assessments, measurement-based care assessments, treatment planning, and safety planning with those in crisis.

Ms. Stouder specializes in clinical mental health and crisis stabilization. She believes that therapy can benefit anyone who is willing to make the commitment, and she enjoys working with clients who are motivated to cultivate positive change in their lives. Ms. Stouder is passionate about the impact of healthy communication and positive self-talk. She enjoys assisting clients with exploring their emotions and thought patterns, while simultaneously striving to enhance overall quality of life.

What do you do in your free time?

In her free time, Ms. Stouder enjoys outdoor activities, going to theme parks, playing board games and word games, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
